The problem with the screensavers wasn't as fixed as I thought. The changes I made only worked under Windows NT or Windows 2000. Turns out new Windows is more forgiving than legacy Windows. So I've posted fixed versions of both the Joanna and the Glasgow screensaver. As usual, let me know if anything does not work as advertised.

While I'm here I just wanted to post this screenshot in the style of the developer desktop captures that appeared recently. This shows the problem I mentioned above, where the same dialog appears different in Win95/98/ME and WinNT/2K. This also shows Windows Millenium Edition running inside a window inside Windows 2000. I love emulation.

Fixed a problem in the Glasgow screensaver that resulted from using a bitmap for the text in the Settings dialog. Guess that'll teach me for being a lazy amateur programmer. Anyway if anyone downloaded it the other day, you may want to get the update, if for no other reason than it is quite a bit smaller now it doesn't contain the bitmap in question. If anyone finds anything else wrong let me know.

Put another screensaver on the Programming page. Not much more advanced than the previous one, but try it out. The reason for the City of Glasgow images is that not only do I live in Glasgow, but recently I spent six weeks working at Glasgow City Council. Try it out and let me know if anything doesn't work.

Put up a couple of icons on the gallery page. Not up to www.icons.cx standard but I think they came out fairly well.

Created a little program to let you autorun HTML files on CDs, it's on the programming page. Haven't really tested it out much, so if anyone finds anything wrong with it let me know.

Just added an icon to the autorun.exe program.

Put a screensaver up on my Programming page. I've been messing around with this for a while now on and off, but finally I've got it working the way I wanted.

Please feel free to try it out and let me know what you think. Especially if you find any bugs.

Wrote a little JavaScript clock to sit up in the top-right corner. However it only shows the time you visited the page i.e. it doesn't update. I'm thinking of writing a small Java applet so I can have it accurately telling the time.

Updated my CV a little.

Corrected more spelling mistakes than I care to admit to.

Cleaned up the site a little. Improved the graphics so they match Mac OS X more closely.
